Conservation Crew Supervisor
Naji started his Civicorps journey in 2018 as a Conservation Intern. Over the next two years at the Corps, Naji navigated two crew leader trainings, countless projects and sponsors, smoky days from nearby forest fires, a COVID pandemic and worldwide shut down – always showing up to work each day ready to work and help lead his crew. He was eventually promoted to the Crew Leader II position for his obvious commitment to his peers and to the work we do. During this time, Naji also set the bar as our first intern ever to fully complete Civicorps’ Conservation Intern Investment Program checklist. Naji’s leadership gives us insight into better understanding the young folks we serve and provides a model to our Corpsmembers of how to fully take advantage of our program. In his free time, you can find Naji working on video editing, playing video games, at the gym playing basketball or cheering on his favorite NBA team, the Denver Nuggets.
