Education Pathways Coordinator
Annette started her role as an English Language Learning Teacher at Civicorps in April 2019. Before Civicorps, Annette worked in other organizations for over twenty years as an ESL Teacher and Curriculum Developer. She also put her entrepreneurial skills into action by starting her own online teaching and copy-editing business. She holds a B.A. in French Literature from UC Santa Barbara and certificates in TESOL and copy-editing. Annette is passionate about language development and helping students boost their confidence and achieve their goals. In her spare time, you can find Annette spending time with her family and friends, entertaining at home, or visiting new places. She lived in France for a year, in Brazil for a couple years and grew up in a small town in the mountains where there was not much to do but ski, hike or read!
