Director of Development and Communications
Rachel joined Civicorps in 2018 with over 20 years of experience in leadership development, fundraising and community outreach in the Bay Area. She has spent significant time working in the Israel/Palestine conflict resolution space, and served for eight years as the Northwest Regional Director for J Street, a political advocacy organization. Rachel holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies from UC Berkeley and is a certified mediator. Her commitment to education and youth leadership stems from her service as a volunteer advocate addressing equity and the opportunity gap in local public schools. Rachel lives in the East Bay with her family, loves word puzzles, and roots for the NY Mets.
