Mary Woodall is from Summit, New Jersey which is very close to New York City (a place she loves to explore). She was a religious studies major with a concentration in gender and sexuality studies at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She grew up loving the outdoors and spending time with my family camping. Mary was a Venture Crew Scout which is a part of Scouts BSA (Boy Scouts), and she has also gone on trips with my school to Virginia and New Hampshire to build houses and work on a vegetable farm.
Mary says: ” I love to get my hands dirty which is why I am so excited to start at Civicorps. My dad is a Bay Area native, and his family still lives there so I am not completely new to the East Bay, but I am looking forward to getting to know the area better! My dad moved from California to New Jersey for JVC, and now I am doing the opposite! I can’t wait to meet everybody and get started!”
